I Look To You

Author Dana Redricks August 17, 2023 When the weight of the world seems like it’s on my shoulders and each day it seems to get colder, I look to You to help me carry this heavy load on this long and heavy road. Only You can lighten this load. When the weight of the world feels too much to bear, and the chill of each day seems to fill the air, I turn to You, my refuge, my guiding light, to help me carry this burden, with all my might. On this long and heavy road that I tread, with each step, feeling the weight on my thread, I know deep within, only You can provide the strength and solace to help me abide. In the depths of my soul, I find my release, as I surrender to You, my burdens decrease for You alone hold the power to lighten my load, to ease the struggles, and lighten the road. When darkness surrounds and shadows grow long, Your presence, like a beacon, keeps me strong. With each prayer whispered, my spirit finds peace, as Your love and grace bring my worries to cease. In the depths of my heart, I find solace and rest, knowing that with You, I am truly blessed. For in Your embrace, I find strength anew, to face the challenges, to make it through. So, when the weight of the world feels too much to bear, and the coldness of life seems to fill the air, I look to You, my rock, my guiding light, for only You can lighten this load, so heavy and tight.
