I Live In a World Unknown By Others
my mind at work
lives in a world
unknown by others
bejeweled by my muse
sanctified by me
there is no interrupting
real people walk through
yet I do not choose to see them
they do not enhance or entice
my fantasy world in any clever way
my poetry and my short stories
take on a life that is a thousand times
more interesting than any human interaction
I have ever had. Lonely work? No.
Solitude? Yes. I honor it. I adore it.
It is my together place,
The place where I can dream
And create and live the life I feel
and yearn for in my bliss state.
Choosing it for myself
always.
