I Like the Idea, But---
I like the idea of the Sabbath, some say
No work, no creative labor, for a whole entire day
But I don't want to be told what to do
By some God or some Rabbi I never knew
I'd be fine with the Sabbath, if I called the shots
But no God, no Law, can force me to be what I'm not...
The truth is that there are so many people like you
They like the idea, but they won't follow through
Because 'God commanded the Sabbath,' it's foreign to them
They bow to no one and nothing; for them authority's a sham
Yet that's precisely why God's Fourth Commandment is needed
If it were left up to man, it would never ever be heeded...
