Some tears just appear on your face Not part of some contorted emotion Just silently - showing sadness They are almost beautiful Something you discover, just there Because you didn't realise you were crying And there's nothing you can do Just let them fall And maybe close your eyes and sleep Love is... seeing yourself through anothers eyes and being lost in the beauty of each other There's a frame by frame rendition playing out, showing a version of me that doesn't exist - without any beauty at all I'm sad that's what you see and that you feel that's what I need to be convinced of There's no route to happiness proving I'm full of hate, because I'm not So all I can do is release this now and cry tears of sadness, because it never needed to be this way
