his name is Jair Bolsonaro, born 1955
he was the 38th President of Brazil
from 2019-2022 it was two and a half years
of corruption ...
he was defeated by Lula
(who is not any better)
Bolsonaro had retired a Captain from the military
his superiors said he was aggressive
and had excessive ambition
for financial and economic goals
he made complaints about military salaries
and budget cuts and got a reprimand
though other officers and wife's praised him
he was accused of plans to plant bombs
in military units which he called 'fantasy'
though the court had plans and drawings by him
it was determined he was guilty
and had serious personality diversions
and lack of morals
but, in the end he was acquitted
and soon after left the military ...
Bolsonaro began his political career then
and held many offices over the years
he surrounded himself with loyal and like-minded people
then, later as President he placed his friends
some from his military days ...
in high positions within his government
during Bolsonaro's Presidential campaign
he made a lot of promises .. kept few
and was known for his finger-gun gesture
he was stabbed at a rally ...
the attacker said he was on "a mission from God"
but in the end he was elected as President
though not long after his popularity began to steadily decline
he thought Covid-19 was just media hype
and downplayed the pandemic
and was opposed to quarantine measures
even dismissing health ministers for their warnings
and although faxs were being done
as of May 31, 2023 there have been 37,601,257 cases of Covid
in Brazil and 702,907 people have died
according to current statistics due to Covid
all because of something that was just media hype ?
he often makes statements considered insulting
homophobic, violence inciting, misogynistic
sexist, racial, anti-refuge, he is pro-gun pro violence
and endorses conspiracy theories
of course, about voter fraud in his elections
(sound familiar)
Bolsonaro has been called the most hated
elected official in the democratic world
Donald Trump admires him
Bolsonaro praises Trump ...
he rejects climate change and rebuffs data
and called the birth of his daughter
"a moment of weakness" (how sad is that)
he sees women as inferior to men
they should be paid less
as for gays he wants to beat them up
said if you have a child like this
take a whip to them ...
after he lost the election to Lula
he went to Florida for awhile
while his supporters stormed the Supreme Court
Congress .. he claimed no responsibility (sound familiar)
but, he had to return to Brazil to face criminal charges
for Crimes Against Humanity for his stance on Covid
his home was raided for false jab Covid cards
for that pandemic that he claimed never was
these cards would facilitate entry to the USA
and of course, though I am not sure, he was found not guilty
also he faced alligations of property acquisition contrary
to best practices of 2 million
well, there may be a small group of people, somewhere
who call this man Bolsonaro a winner
(come out of hiding you cowards)
but, I am not one of them
Bolsonaro, a winner NO WAY
