I Have Not Had My Coffee Yet
I have not had my coffee yet.
Get out of the way, my little pet.
Stay down, out of sight, behind the couch,
And do not make a peep, and better crouch.
You know how I get when a noise or a peep
wakes me from a well-earned, down-deep sleep.
Do not talk to me.
Or look at me.
Better erase yourself completely.
I am in the shut-up mood, and doing it un-sweetly.
My hair is awful, and my mood is worse.
Where is my stupid bright orange purse?
I have not had my coffee yet, can anyone tell?
Where are you going? Full blast, and pell mell….
My mind has not truly fully clicked,
But I am ready to put up my dukes.
Where would you like to be hit?
Even the dog has disappeared.
Cowering in a corner, fully feared.
I have not had my coffee yet.
