I Have Found
That my serenity of spirit has twirled and twined,
that as the season changes I have great peace of mind;
and have found my Utopia and solitude,
my beauty and quietude.
Tranquility flows from my eyes- I have been told,
though, as the leaves drift there is a sadness I will forever hold;
deep in my heart like beautiful decay, placid, composed and old,
yet, my soul shines like the sun in hues of bliss and gold.
In the beauty of Fall, I have a quietness, and calm poise,
often, I am in a hushed concert of the colors and white noise;
detached in a drifting euphoria- where I chime my joys,
though, a world virus grows- the beauty of Fall it never destroys.
Yes, I have found -
That my serenity of spirit has twirled and twined,
that as the season changes I have great peace of mind;
and have found my Utopia and solitude,
my beauty and quietude.
