I Have a Wish

I have only been writing poetry for just about five years I have read so many great writes from so many great poets I have learnt from some of the best in the business I have and still am learning and forever will I have to say, am so truly humbled to get to know such wonderful poets I wish I could read everyone's poetry I wish I had the time I wish that I could take all the ink in the world, and... I wish that I can fill each and every poet's pens with ever-lasting ink I have grown to love...to write I have grown to love...to read I have grown to love...poetry I wish I could write poetry forever I wish I can read poetry forever I have a wish PS: I also wish a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all the wonderful poets here on the Soup! So beautiful... Charles ! You have humbled enough to place yourself below every other poet while you stay really tall ! I too have begun writing only after my retirement. By reading others, I too am learning much and begun experimenting with different poetic forms. Enjoyed your poem and can very well relate to it !
