I Have a Clown Suit
I have a clown suit.
It used to get worn a lot.
But then a child jumped on my back,
Injuring me.
Because I wore a clown suit.
So I put away the floppy suit.
I put away the face make up.
I put away the pointy hat, and the rainbow curls.
It was sad.
I put away the clown suit.
One boy,
On a summer day,
During a school
Carnival ruined this
Clown for thousands of
Other children.
I look at my 18 -inch red clown shoes,
And think, am I ready to give it a chance?
After all, that was only one clown.
