I Give To ''Misery'' All I Have
The depth of my misery is deep with grief and pain,
and my spirit is melancholy with endless sorrow and anguish;
I am held prisoner in my misery by a thick and rusty chain,
oh, Lord how long in this unhappiness will I languish?
My heart is bleeding sadness and in my soul is a huge stain,
all the result of me thinking, thinking thoughts grim;
my memories of my beloved dead are bittersweet and come with gloom,
oh, Lord will I forever visit a cold, stone tomb?
In my misery, woe and torment the real world is growing dim,
I must cease this misery- for the dead are dead and my tears are in vain.
