I Fool No One
The blank page screams into my ear
I roll my eyes
She giggles and I relent
Okay, one poem I say.
She throws back her head and laughs inside out
I despise an arrogant all-knowing blank page
She reminds me of my children
Who were also never fooled by any mask I tried to wear.
