I Dreamt of You When You Weren'T Looking, Ode To a Lost Friend

i dreamt of you when you weren't looking i imagined a world better then sulking when we would live in the shadows of the world i dreamt that you arose above it all. i dreamt that we were happy with lots of money only dollar signs give me a sense of dopamine you probably wanted that but you didn't you wanted a life without my prison. and all the friends i had, i dreamed we lived in castles and all the problems we couldn't fix i dreamed we found the answer i wanted you to be happy but maybe that wasn't true i wanted you to be happy when i was around you. years later we are so distanced and i saw from my phone that you had arisen you have now a life i dreamt you could have and i see now your good is separated from my bad. i dreamt of you when you weren't with me and i see now it was just premonition and maybe if i am a genie i shouldv'e fulfilled my own wishes.
