I Dreamed a Dream Contest

My vision was blurred and my imagination was stirred My Realm was sleeping tired of reality I drifted away from a very complicated day As I flew like an Eagle so high above the sky Flying through the atmosphere what I envisioned as not real My wings had changed color as I became God’s Angel With a golden Harp place into my hands There were soft sounds of music that all blended together All with rich tones that reached deep into my soul The colors that my vision had were mystical and indescribable A Realm of mystery and harmony holding me with love All Created by the one next to me who smiles upon you I did not want to wake for I had a fear of the earth below I flew over fields of flowers as far as the eye could see Another indescribable scene and as I flew Another Angel flew next to me it was my only love upon the earth Who died just recently from one of mans creations As she looked over at me with a smile of temptation I smiled back I held her in my arms with my wings wrapped around her Both together in this place forever in God’s kingdom Forever and Ever never waking up from this dream Contest: I Dreamed A Dream Sponsored by: Silent One Dated Created: 02/17/2019 Judge 2nd Place
