I dreamt a dreamer's dream of illusion
where the sky fell into the sea
and left a smokey red thread
on the grave of the horizon
where stars bubbled in the ocean
then shot up to the never-reaches
carrying my vision with them
into a vast darkness
leaving me blind
facing a new universe
where everything explodes
to leave remnants of yesterday
drifting in space, another galaxy
of fluidity spilling across infinity
that man believed he owned
before he blew up the sky
and sent it into the sea
now filled with tears
forming waves, rushing to nowhere
for the land like the horizon...is gone
