I Don'T Wish To See

You see I don’t wish to see Things that bring sadness inside me When I’m supposed to be the happy me You see I don’t wish to see Things that would only leave me crying When I’m supposed to be out there laughing You see I don’t wish to see Not even your thin shadow Passing my broken window But when I do I feel blue Don’t know what to do And that face I don’t wish to see As inspiring as it always be I find myself trembling Reaching for pads and ink Recalling the memories we once had Brief ones yet never fade
