I Don'T Understand

I don’t understand what is happening? I see continual explosive episodes of outrage Things being said, are unheard of in the past Criticism for a public person with stage 4 cancer? Hateful blanketed comments to people unknown? Assault on a woman wearing a medical mask to stay healthy? Crimes soaring all around us, as if it is normal? Someone spraying items at a Walmart, costing thousands? What is happening to people? I don’t understand! I have never seen anything like this in my life! It now takes constant energy to stay positive and prayers! Heidi Sands 2/6/20

It seems to be the way of the world anymore and it is sad. Kindness is so easy, my opinion it takes more work to hate than it does to be kind. Love your poem Heidi.
