I Don'T Believe You Baby

I don't believe you! So many nights, you made me wonder waiting for you but you never made it home Try to tell me about your blunder but I know you didn't spend the night alone All my nights have been so lonely when I look at you I know all my trust is gone Chorus I don't believe you baby but, my foolish heart it controls my mind I don't believe you baby my night vision eyes see all your lies I don't believe you baby I'm not so easily deceived but I want you, I want you here with me The sands of time it keeps flowing so I think I'll just keep watching as it flows And although you'll keep deceiving me I'll just keep on pretending I don't know Chorus repeat twice fade John Derek Hamilton September 07,2016

John, I've known couples where both are cheating and neither cares but they remain married. I've seen it go the other way where no one is cheating but one is suspicious and torpedoes the marriage. Go figure? I enjoyed your lyrics but am glad I have to deal with neither.

So true,Daniel, some people are overly jealous which ruins confidence, others don't care as long as they have some time and companionship with the one they love. Glad I enjoy a good marriage it's hard to find today.

Thanks so much Laura you are so kind, it's really simple what I do, poetry for me is much more difficult, as I think and feel lyrically not mechanically conforming to rules and such, that's why I prefer free verse, and dramatic monologues, to anything else, thanks again for your comments.
