I Didn'T Dream Enough - Ifl
Losing the longing in the debris of broken heart,
I sauntered sullen to the silent shore of sorrow.
My emotions swirled like dislodged surly sands
in the tide of remote time when you were mine.
On the sighing sea made of billion drops of tear,
descended somber shadow of night’s slate sky,
split unseen by the flying flash of a shooting star,
dissolving like memory in the horizon of oblivion.
Transient flame of trajectory of devoured desire
furrowed in my mind a blazing trail of yearning,
I wished I could trace in the track of spurting star,
even if it was fleeting like the flicker of your love.
I slept on the desolate edge of the lonely night,
you became a shining star in my dreaming sky,
sparkled for a while and disappeared forever,
I felt depressed, I felt like I didn’t dream enough.
