I Can Only Imagine

I can only imagine. If I could only see, Just what it's like to be, Sat on My Lords knee, And have Him smile at me. I can only imagine, That if I pray enough, I may find the words to say, What is in my mind and heart, Will bubble forth when I pray. I can only imagine, That my Lord will bless me, Just the way He loves me, He takes away my sinful pride, Not a part of me can hide. I can only imagine, Alone on my darkest day, When lost in my wilderness, That Heaven will hear my groan, Then My Lord will take me home.
