I Am Woman - That I Am
She was my child,
we became good friends.
Like kindred spirits,
we made plans together.
But she understood loneliness,
the need for a man.
He came after taking her body,
then he created confusion.
You were made perfect,
and he couldn’t understand it.
So he learned more about you,
to use it against you.
Making you break promises,
forcing your loyalty.
You started to blame him,
when he didn’t need you anymore.
So he named himself husband,
then turned the blame on you.
And when he conquered you,
it destroyed our paradise.
A heaven built for you,
burned with wicked flames.
