I Am Not Perfect

I AM NOT PERFECT I am not in anyway God! I won’t be at the Pearly Gates, judging who gets in or stays out. I will get to lie serenely, beneath the autumn sod. Only the dead are perfect, within and without. If you think, somehow, I am perfection….. Your mind is going in the wrong direction. Only one person on earth this earth was perfect….God’s son. It certainly is not me nor any with foolish facades,pretending to be the One. Christ taught in Temples with much humility. A quality, sorely missing in most of all humanity. This was not a generalization. Like “Time FlIes.” I loathe all cliches with a passion. They bore me to tears, This was a prayer I wrote..featured on a Christian site this week with credit to me. I did not submit it they found it at my other poetry site. Love you, Pangie Darlene, I loathe cliches.

Elena..I think it takes decades for people yo understand they are imperfect. Imperfect Man is going to bring peace to the world. Not achance. Only the King of Kings will do that. Most of humanity are spoiled brats. Like kids riding tricycles with paper crowns, g vaxx popsicles. But clueless! Thinking we are free as birds...oy, oy, Pangie

Well, being perfectly honest with self and others is perfection enough for me. I like this work a lot -- the tone is humble, and respectful. Many can learn from such a fine example. Yes, one cannot go wrong using Christ's behavior as a personal barometer. Blessings my friend!
