I Am, I Am

As I close my eyes And I think of tomorrow The whole worlds in my thoughts It's my given test to absorb it's sorrow It will know I am here As I am different from others My task is to intake The other of others As to where I am from Only time will allow I have been here before Far from beyond the Plough I am of an age Which is why I am here This Highlander Semaj From a different world sphere Your wars are recorded Far Galaxies know Of your human trait Your histories have shown Only time will tell As your worlds nations progress To do what's right And do what's best From beyond the Plough Lie worlds unknown For you to go there You will have to prove you have grown . http://www.thehighlanderspoems.com/fantasy-10.php

your 2nd paragraph, what a noble act... absorber huh... the last stanza is as awesome as the 2nd but its so strong... thoughtful in evety line.. :)

Thank you Olive. Throughout my poems are ones about a person called Semaj. It's my name backwards, and they are all part of an idea about writing a Fantasy/Sci-Fi story!! one day maybe!!!!! - James :)

Great and awesome words tonight... we are all looking for answers from other places to come fix our shortcomings... but I think the answers are within us and we fear to look to find .. so its off on quests to see if someone else can find for us... great job and different spin and theme.. enjoyed as I do all your writings... thankxxx for sharing... There is an awesome depth to this write, James. Surely, man will have to prove he has grown before he can reach out and mingle with the universal community.
