I Am, But, A Poet

I am, but, a poet A muse tangled in the breeze Searching deep within my soul Hoping to plant a seed Would you like to come along Perhaps a ballad A reminiscing song If only for a moment You are mine and I am yours Of distant memories Recalled Together we shall forge the scape Twining in a loving moment Taking flight and flying away Of red - Of all the golds - Of all the blue horizons - Lined in silver snow - I reach I pull - A moment to lie - Your emerald soul - A halo of lavender - A breath - Untold I am, but, a poet

Yet another FAVE (even if it's not 'screaming' this time!). So pleasant is your verse. An absolute pleasure to read and linger over... Bravo! ~ Gershon
