I Am a Star
I am a star not like the rest.
Some think I am the very best.
Inside my heart I’m sad you see
cause no one will ever wish on me.
Unlike the other stars,
I have no twinkle from afar
and the worse of all of this
I'll see no lovers' starry kiss.
I don’t just hang there like some beauty.
But work my power to do my duty.
It is this Earth I shine upon.
I am a star. I am the sun.
