I Am
It’s confusing
Trying to figure out
Who you are
On the inside
Or on the out
Can’t tell who
I am, keep guessing
Whether I’m this
Or I am that
Try to choose
But the answer
Continues to change
At one point,
I may be this
And at another,
I don’t feel
Much the same
Decide between
Options 1, 2, 3,
Or many others
But the problem
Is that I
Can’t select a
Single option
I can’t section
Myself into one
Single place
I wish I
Could confidently
Say which I
Belong to, to say
Who I am
With no doubt
In the world
But I’m still
On that journey
Don’t know if
It will ever stop,
Though I always
Hope to come
Out on the
Other end
