I Adore You, Lord
I adore You, Lord, with my jubilant praises
Which You deserve midst Your salvation* grant’s doses
Keep me triumphantly awed by Your great forces
While seeking Your heart that eternally blesses.
I adore You, Lord, with my loving devoutness
Which You require by Your compassion’s steadfastness
Keep me divinely delighted with Your kindness
While glorifying Your name midst worshipfulness.
I adore You, Lord, with my sincere gratitude
Which You desire thru Your generous attitude
Keep me strongly anchored by Your grace-magnitude
While trusting Your provision-granting fortitude.
I adore You, Lord, with my true humility
Which You assess upon Your wisdom’s certainty
Keep me constantly moved by Your authority
While honoring Your power-brightened majesty.
I adore Lord, with my servant followership
Which You ask within Your offered relationship
Keep me wholly surrendered to Your leadership
While advancing Your kingdom thru good stewardship.
I adore You, Lord, with my utmost commitment
Which You demand as braced by Your Word’s settlement
Keep me fully inspired by Your encouragement
While cleaving to Your covenant of fulfillment.
I adore You, Lord, with my willing sacrifice
Which You do beseech by Your mercies that suffice
Keep me surely genuine with self-denial’s price
While exalting Your stature in faith’s prayer-rise.
*Psalm 3:8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people.
