I Accidentally Let One Loose

I accidentally let one loose but the others looked so sad, I unlatched the cages and let them scamper around the bushes, glad. So pretty with their long white tails, the prettiest babies we have had. But Dad and Uncle Jerry came, and the empty cage made them really mad. It seems fussy neighbors do not think foxes are the best visitors they have ever had. We were made to help and found three out of four and I do not think that is too terribly bad. Written July 8, 2018 For: Charles Messina’s Contest, I Accidentally Let One Loose

Yes, but it was not an accident. It was on purpose. Our uncle had caged them after their mother met an untimely death, and bottle fed them until they were old enough to go back to their home in the country. My twin and I were 6.

Thank you, Nette. I have an aversion to cages.

Because my twin and I did it. Okay. I did it, and she watched.
