Hummingbird Time
sometime during a star slashed night
slipping into hummingbird time
dirt roads bled into oil slickened autobahns
blood thickens - bones slow
gears screaming -colors blend
barely time to catch a breath
devilish momentum
over the edge
ground strike
conception meeting death
from a crow lined hat
Mr. silence smiles...
freedom rides the soul of the wind
a misty tunnel
speed of light
whorls of a half wasted life
along the sides
loved ones
angelic robed
circle upon circle upon circle
eternity road
heavenly nest
finally
home
finally
rest
