Ahh!! Except they are not silent when hovering over a flower. Those little wings have their own distinct sound. A sort of buzzing they make. I just love the ones that show up around here. Reads like a good contender for the contest to me. Way to go. Thanks for sharing it with us and for my poem being on your winner's list. Sara
