humans decide which mask to wear every day, one face, thousands of masks with dangerous masks we hide our cheeks, shade our eyes with torn hearts we smile we all wear masks not to be different but hide our uniqueness disguised as people, beneath perceptions, thoughts, words we are awareness

Brilliant picture to go with this senryu! I agree with this, all sorts of masks for various reasons, some are uncomfortable with revealing their inner true selve too, for various reasons. A deeply moving and thoughtful write this is: i especially felt “ we all wear masks not to be different but hide our uniqueness“ profound! Sooo true on so many deep levels! Your wisdom and ability to comprehend various shades of masks so very evident here . Loved reading this

Sara, I agree that with torn hearts we smile beneath a mask, to hide how we feel inside sometimes. Well said, well written… Belle

I like your interesting take on this, since the subject is generally viewed in the negative. We wear masks to hide our uniqueness. Very cool
