humans decide which
mask to wear every day, one
face, thousands of masks
with dangerous masks
we hide our cheeks, shade our eyes
with torn hearts we smile
we all wear masks not
to be different but hide
our uniqueness
disguised as people,
beneath perceptions, thoughts, words
we are awareness
