Head-heart hand in glove,
dissolving in love,
ceasing to resist,
becomes a bliss mist.
Likewise when we pray,
let focus not stray,
granting love consent,
for our soul’s ascent.
Inhale gratitude
exhale fortitude,
breath after breath thus,
aboard God’s bliss bus.
Each form we do see
is who else but He,
so let heart soften
more and more often.
May mindful be speech
as we so beseech
God to grant us right
to become His light.
As prayers renew,
nothing less will do,
save merging with Him,
before our eyes dim.
