How I Might Like To Die
I would like to die in an airplane flying upside down, through a barn.
Or in a fire truck, a one woman crash, taking no one with me.
Falling off a tightrope above a skyscraper might be nice.
I have heard you die of fright before you hit the ground.
This would be one way to prove it.
But how would I let the world know?
I do not want to be eaten by a lion or mauled by a bear.
And I do not want to be chased by a mountain lion.
Or eaten by a crocodile or an alligator.
Maybe I could die from eating too much sugar?
Or from choking on a banana split, but at the end.
When there is only one spoonful left.
