How I Feel Today

My emotions are up and down I feel breathless at the forsaken sound Destiny has me spinning around How I feel today My soul is ready to begin anew I try to give my emotions a little clue How will I forgive if he is true? How I feel today My heart beats rapidly in my chest I consider his leaving my big mess I swallow deep and try to look at rest How I feel today My everything wants to look him in the eye. My everything has produced a wistful sigh. My everything knows we want him alive. How I feel today Written: May 5th for Rhyme and Refrain Contest. Sponsored By Broken Wings

Interesting write Caren, the emotions are evident. It seems to be of a son who has left, could be interpreted as other relations as well. I like the fact that the interpretation is left open for the reader to decide.
