How God Feels
From outside form, looking within
We are God’s breath, enabling life
Deafened by ego’s thought flow din
Yearning this body be bliss rife
What have we created, we ask
From outside form, looking within
He’s distanced from love, wears a mask
Let then inner cleansing begin
Dismayed at ego’s ways of sin
Enforce law of cause and effect
From outside form, looking within
That one day it’s free from defect
How we wish to embrace our child
We’re in his heart, we call him in
But we find him wayward and wild
From outside form, looking within
