How Did You Know My Age

What do mushrooms do? Why are violets so pale? How does the sun stream through the trees? Why is this called a forest and not a tree circus? The owl stared at the young fox. Making a rapid decision. Let me guess, you are three-years-old? How did you know? Why did you guess that? Can I feel your feathers? The owl flew down and let the toddler feel his feathers. Knowing until he did there would be no silence in the forest. Satisfied, the young fox sauntered away.
