Don't grieve. Anything you lose comes around in another form. Quote by Rumi
How could you abandon me at that time A small innocent child, just a toddler Blond hair, sky-blue eyes with mountains to climb You couldn't know even if I would be a coddler I might have spoiled you so, with fine treatment How could you do such a horrible thing Snuffed out your life, I could be your completement Instead, I had many strange roads to wing At least my childhood was a time of peace Well, mostly, learning so many aspects Of God's green earth, people and caprice Of learning, of love, and of nature's affect Suicide isn't a way out of depression It leaves those left here with the big question

My husband's family had a few suicides in it but I was so surprised when a nephew of mine took his life barely out of his youth. Depression is a horrible thing! Good topic for Abandon.

Dear Sara, How raw, honest, and heartbreakingly beautiful. You give voice to pain and unanswered questions with such grace and courage. I feel your longing, your resilience, and your hope woven through every line. Your words are a comfort to anyone who’s ever asked “why?” and that healing is possible, even after loss. Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

My wife's grandfather committed suicide when her mother was just ten or eleven, then grandma abandoned her at eleven and she had to raise her two younger sibs by herself. To this day we don't know how she did it. She just passed away in February at 93. True story Sara. Sad poem
