Hopes and Dreams

As day turns tonight she dreams She dreams of all that could happen The happiness she has left to find The love yet to lose She dreams of the life left to live And friends yet to meet She looks back on her life She realizes she is who she was meant to be Her life is the one she was meant to have She knows her dreams will not come true She is alone now And will always be alone Happiness and love are not meant for her She could end her life End all of the misery and suffering But that would be too easy So she will endure the suffering in hope In the hope that she is wrong In the hope that she will find love And happiness Her hopes are the only reason she doesn’t end the misery Her hopes and dreams keep her alive
