and it is time to search again for my hopes and dreams.
To go deep inside,
for feelings I hide,
to look at all the failures I have denied.
Soon it will be 2019,
and it is time to search again for my hopes and dreams.
I sit here with pen and paper waiting for words to inspire,
but I find a vast void;
and I am getting annoyed,
it seems many of my dreams have been destroyed.
Soon it will be 2019,
and it is time to search again for my hopes and dreams.
Oh, but the journey,
has been at times cruel yet also breathtaking.
So, I pick up my pen and commence to write and write,
I realize that my journey has taken other paths that ignite;
my newfound hopes and dreams are taking flight.
Soon it will be 2019,
and it is time to search again my hopes and dreams.
I write- make more friends,
keep what family I have close to my heart;
pen more poems that from my pages fly away butterflies.
Create a thick, huge volume of my writing,
and work on my dancing so it will be more exciting;
oh, now I am imagining and my pencil biting.
