Hope
Listen to poem:
Beyond the mist a new beginning unfolds,
Intentions hidden in the void.
Overpowering any words uttered.
Burdens coated with newfound strength,
I shall listen to the undetected.
It's carried me this far.
Keeping the obvious unsaid,
Continuous ignorance to my pleadings.
Esteemed soul I must uphold.
Prolonging almost certain demise, or light?
Hope.
A realist cannot convey,
"Show me the evidence" they'll say.
Bare witness to my meanderings,
I was touched from afar to carry on a new.
"What is this elusive journey I shall pursue?"
Strip the mockery from one's sight,
They're here for a reason, no spec of dust.
"A sight for sore eyes."
No doubt I abused the tools that were given,
Do not overexert yourself...
