Hope screams from the heart
Who feels God’s presence
His light reflecting on the thoughts
Encouraging and inspiring
Reassuring the mind of His mercy
Hope silences the doubts
That seem to come about
When pain and grief and sadness
Beckon to the feelings
Leaving dread and despair
Angry words and wills
Who long to feel the kindness
God brings to life within us
Hope delights in the dance
Waltzing with prayer
Praise for the healer, the king
The One who makes a way
Where no way has ever been
The wonder of life and living
Breathing love inside us
Hope is a blessing from God
Who knows that our lives abide
On the confidence and courage
Discovered on the inside of one
Who knows that His light and love
Free the heart, soul and mind
Singing serenity that is like a smile
Hope that comes from One
Who shows us that love is eternal
And He is the One who burns away
All the sorrow, the pain, the worry
He creates a place for us
To shine like the grace He pours over us!
His hope is a gift from His spirit
It feels like a dream come true
This hope that fills me with assurance
That He will, one day, bring me home
To the satisfaction of a love
That is like a balm to the soul
A relief and solace… brought to the one
Who knows He is the Savior of the world
With Him, there is hope that is eternal
