Hold on to our love Why is it, that you cannot see, all the love that we have? Don't you know, we we're meant to be so tell me, why are you so sad? On the day we met you thought, true love you'd never find then I reached out, to take your hand and you put yours in mine Chorus So now, hold onto our love hold on, don't let love slip away if we both try a little bit more maybe love would forever stay Life is not a dream... and true love is not just a mere fantasy Bridge I wonder if you're still in love, or is it only me? All I know is I love you so, but I fear you want to be free I'm still desperately holding on, to all we've got, but I need you to hold on before what we have is gone So tell me, what will you do now, that my love's not enough for you? Please tell me how I can... make our love brand new again! Obviously, she's not good enough for you while your love floods you need to ask her to try a little harder one sided relationships always end in heartbreak :( Great job on the lyrics though ;)

So true, John, many times love becomes one sided which is the end of it, but if we try a little more, we can together build a beautiful life of love:) I love the simple truths you portray in your lyrics:)

Hi John, enjoyed your lyric. Reminds me of songs by David Cassidy or perhaps Frankie Valli for some reason-don't know how you feel about either of them but it's meant as a compliment.
