Hitler Stole My Pink Rabbit
Hitler Stole my pink rabbit
it was pink velvet with grey lining to the ears
and a white bobbit
He first came down through the radio set
he strode across and said
in a deep voice, I like velvet
I ran away behind the settee
clutching my bun bun
close to me
I threw a cushion at him, as he went
I'll be back he said
and disappeared in an instant
It was next summer that a roaring noise
told me Hitler had come
to take and destroy
So my pink rabbit and I went deep underground
the bombs and the bullets
missed the hole, we could not be found
Then white umbrellas rained down from the sky
We did not know
we were likely to die
Then the man from the sky
in the white umbrella
stole my pink rabbit and left me to cry.
