Jan Allison Poet Limerick

His Little Willie Got Wet

Old Peter was terribly silly 
And forgot to protect his poor Willie
On the walk to the vet
His wee Willie got wet
The soaking wet pup got so chilly

His Willie was dried at the vets
(They’re extremely kind to our pets)
They prescribed some pills
To cure Willie’s ills
and a coat to cover his assets
