Joy who kisses away Heartbreak, dread… fears and tears Those mysteries who haunt the spirit Making it difficult to remember When smiles, unfading and bright, Reigned, heavy like the moment When darkness fades into the morning Light seemed to draw hope Into the hints of musings Who remind my thoughts to breath, To believe – to remain supple, Aware that He is with me, Alive within me, bringing inspiration With His amazing salvation, The way to heaven – is in His light, His endless reflection, sparkling With the knowing that He is the answer The friend, the companion… The One who brings light From the darkness who abides In worry and anxiety, fear that deprives Even the smile of its shine, The embrace of its shimmering love The grace of its mercy, its wonder This is the light from His love, The love that rains down from above
