He sent the raindrops
He sent the sun
He sent the wonder
To our hearts and souls
He sent the music
He sent the joy
He sent the miracles
To whisper to our minds
It was only in the gifts
Sent by His loving hand
That we discovered blessings
Rained on our hopes and dreams
Breathing love across our spirits
Freeing us from all grief, angst or worry
Reminding us that we’re loved
Beyond our own realization
More than we can grasp
With a love that has no end
A love that is eternal
And gives the gift
Of forever
He sent the silent thoughts
To reveal to us the joy in our hearts
Where He gave us a brilliant warmth
To keep us filled with serenity and faith
The grace to listen to His voice always
In Him, I found the answers
To the many prayers I prayed
Longing for solutions and resolutions
To the problems I faced, the aches I met
The feelings and failures, the wisdoms and weather
From a changing idea, a changing of seasons
The beauty within – like the beauty of a impression
That grips the spirit with the hope, the faith
To listen to the amazing grace that fills up hearts
With gentleness and peace, the splendor of kindness
He heard my prayers, listened to my heart
Reassured me that I was loved
Beyond what I might have heard of
With a love that creates, elevates and elates
Giving the gift of compassion to a spirit that waits
… for the greatest gifts granted – His gift of love!
