His heart rains down kindness Gentle whispers of grace and peace Feelings blending both hope and faith Light intense and brilliant, soothing Away the darkness that bleeds Worry and doubt, deception From its shadows of dread, despair His spirit showers us with joy Pouring out wonder and laughter Healing the pains and the sorrows Awakening reflections of desire Fires of tenderness, aflame with Praise and prayer, victorious Inspirations to color the whole life In melodies of splendor, growing Graciously, like a daisy who stirs Gentle thoughts to be freed From their homes in the meadows His mercies are new every morning Flowing down to us from heaven Where He awaits those who know Him As Father, the One who will love Unconditionally, fully, completely With a love that is stronger, more alive More powerful than any love in life It is like the mighty sun or moon Breaking through the darkness Stirring up glimmering radiance Feelings of pure adoration, praise Of the One who brings us calm Tranquility that is like a fulfillment Breathed out of the pores of One Who knows us as His children, Creations who He loved and brought To life by His own breath, in His own image – His work, ablaze With passionate hopes, dreams Alive like stars and stardust lives Blended with flames of grace And poured out on the darkness So that light begins to penetrate Casting love across the shadows And stirring overwhelming promise Of a love that is forever, eternal In the home on high, where we Will never even die… always alive In the presence of His love, His light The Son who made this all possible With the gift of His entire life!
