Hints

Wet grass in rain, Earth soaks sky tears; Gain in sure pain, Wet weather clears. Just for a while, The sun comes out; A midday smile, As joy now shouts. December hurls, Floods pulse of rain; Cold dampness swirls, Loud wetness stains. Stormy weather Adds furious shades; Gloom can fester Wet escapades. Grey skies can mint A sad charade; Dark passage hints Of more wet raids. Bourgainvilleas: Bald scrubs devoid Of beauty here; Cold rain makes void. This year-end flood Piles wet on wet; Blue surge of blood, Monsoon now sets. Leon Enriquez 22 December 2014 Singapore
