Dear DD, I came for my art lesson and your lesson is a quiet revelation just how you sculpt light from the raw clay of darkness, letting beauty spill through even the fractured spaces. I think I love the way you awaken the soul with so few words feels like a gentle rain after a drought. Even when we’re weathered, we can still bloom, still write ourselves whole. Your spirit’s resilience is a gift I cherish. Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Daniel, what a joy your comments are! I was choosing a subject for my Hiku and had seen Waterlilies on my daily peruse of artwork. The Buddhist thoughts on them really struck me as beautiful and I spent most of the day playing around with the idea. I'm truly moved by the comments and placement. It feels a little like a hard to follow first album though lol :) thank you again for taking the time to read my poem and leave such a great comment

Dear DD This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the way youv arranged your words, without seeing Monet's Lillies i would have still seen those floating water lillies ! How creative and artistic of you! Hikus suit you! And this is a fave for me for sure! Pleasure reading! Best wishes for the contest! Sending you light always

I think the intensive training course of Hiku fever means we see in Hiku now (except for one I tried to do of a dandelion clock that I keep laughing at when I see it in my drafts - I might post it for amusement if I think of a last line lol). I'm delighted with a fave for my efforts - I may draft in a few other artists for a visual springboard to keep these going :) thank you for your kind encouragement, always appreciated :)

Thank you Hilda - I'd read about the symbolism of water lillies in Buddhism and thought I'd see what I could create :) (was going to do wisteria but found out it was poisonous). Glad you liked this one :)
