Higher Plane
Slowly, surely killing myself daily
Judging lives taken instantly
An active mind; sadistic perceptions
Engraving my life’s story
Being kind to others, giving & taking
Some might know, few will care
Though life is littered with obstacles
and inhumanity is reason to fear
-the world is my oyster-
it’s web of deceit, the shell that protects me
Futuristic ambitions carry me
to planes of enlightenment
Fulfillment drives me
to measure days in life’s units…
love, sunsets & lessons learned
Building to one day never retire
but to fall from oceans into skies
A glorious waterfall rollercoaster
Where destruction introduces rebirth
beauty means departure
Erasing footprints in the sands of the hourglass
and smoothing the pebbles of time
