High School Feelings

Oh, how I longed to be popular back then! Tell the truth,I was miserable as a wet hen. Was my hair right, did I have any horrid pimples? Never realizing how slim I was and had the cutest, sweet, attractive dimple! I even had a brand new red and white convertible. But this "popularity" thing was truly incorrigible. That feeling to be part of the top group still remains. Decades, later, I still feel like a caboose on the back of a train.                7/3/2021

Prince de Mino~Happy Fourth, but do not feel we are a Free country anymore. A darkness has crushed our freedom. But...it will come back! Big tech aka Communists cannot crush our spirits. Lies de jour, aka Propoganda, cannot. Nor BLM nor Antifa. Both avowed Marxist groups. I will not let them ruin a Capitalist world. Woke can all...walk. Glad we are friends, Besf to Ila. See new poem, am posting in 1/2 hour, time here is 10:20 amPST. Love to you both, Pangie xx

I know some in my hi school who thought they were the creme of the crop - interestingly some of them turned out to be bums and losers. Just remember: He who is first shall be last; He who is last shall be first (in the life to come!!)

My HS classmates? Pretty sharp. All had college degrees and married well.. But have not seen them for decades. So do not know. Never attended one reunion. Was just glad to graduate, Bob, need I tell you the world is rife with losers. I do not see myself as a "last." and I am not certain as to it's Biblical meaning. Last what? LOL Pangie HAPPY 4th

Hi! I thought I was the only one who had such feelings. Many teens do, they just mask them. Guys act Macho. Girls become cheerleaders and cute.some girls still act like 50 year old high schoolers. Such arrogant old snot nosed show .offs. They expect us to bow at their feet.. ugh. Pangie xx

Thank you. I tell it like it is for me. I am not a philosopher. FYI...I am no weakling and brought myself down the highway of life. Plenty about me you do not know. I am unafraid to be me in a poem. No matter who snickers at me! PR xx
